The rafts, made of bamboo, are navigated by skilled raft masters with each raft accommodating two people. The raft masters are incredibly skilled, especially when maneuvering over the rocks during downhill sections. Even as we braced ourselves and held onto the rail tightly, a little nervous, the raft remained stable, never flipping over. It was a thrilling experience, but we felt safe under their expert control, allowing us to fully enjoy the beauty of Guilin’s landscapes. The most amazing part is that we didn’t get completely soaked—just our feet got a little wet. However, I still recommend wearing waterproof shoes, just in case. That way, you can fully enjoy the rafting experience without worrying about getting wet, making the adventure even more relaxed and enjoyable.
