Huangshan Three-Day Tour | Third Stop Qiyun Mountain|||With the longing for Qiyun Mountain in Anhui, I embarked on this journey to explore Taoist culture and Danxia landform. Qiyun Mountain, known for its reputation as 'the best of the southern Yangtze River region alongside Mount Huangshan'. Walking leisurely along the Jiuli Thirteen Pavilions (Xiake Ancient Trail) at the head of Dengfeng Bridge, following in the footsteps of Xu Xiake, rising step by step. For those accustomed to exercise, reaching the ticket office is just a leisurely stroll. Passing through Yuehua Street, I arrived at the Taixu Palace. Its predecessor was the Yousheng Zhenwu Shrine of the Southern Song Dynasty, which was later rebuilt and renamed by Emperor Jiajing due to the efficacious blessing of a son. As a royal Taoist site of great significance in the Jiangnan region, Taixu Palace has witnessed countless Taoist grand ceremonies. Worshiping devoutly, drawing a fortune stick, the precision of the Taoist priest's interpretation is astonishing. The metaphors on the stick added to my awe of Qiyun Mountain. Moving forward, the Yuxu Palace came into view. This building is famous in the history of Jianzhan pottery, built against the mountain, integrating palace and cave. This harmonious blend of architecture and nature, 'unity of heaven and man, the Tao follows nature', standing here, I felt the integration with nature and the connection with the Tao. The 'Tang Yin Stele' under the Zixiao Cliff, the Yuehua 'Heavenly Street' on the cliff, and the 'Dinosaur Footprint Fossil Group' inside the Xiaohu Sky, are collectively known as the 'Three Wonders of Qiyun Mountain'. The 'Zixiao Palace Xuandi Stele Inscription', seven meters long and one meter four wide, was written by Tang Yin, a Ming Dynasty painter and calligrapher. The writing is fluent, and the calligraphy is neat and vigorous. Tang Yin's life was full of poetry and painting, but this is the only stele inscription. In the evening, with the afterglow of the setting sun, I roamed the Heng River on a small bamboo raft, carefree and at ease. As night fell, dozens of bamboo rafts connected end to end on the Heng River, forming a 'golden dragon'. In Qiyun Town, watching the iron flower performance and the fireworks of ten thousand trees bloom, the night of Qiyun is rendered into a splendid painting. Large patches of golden stars sprinkle onto the calm waters of the Fuhai Sea, and the flames 'escaping' from the falling sticks gradually dissipate under the caress of the spring water. At this moment, I felt the unique charm and endless blessings of this land.
