In Taipei, a bustling city far from the port, if you want to enjoy the sweetness of seafood lobster and satisfy your appetite for steak, there is a restaurant that can satisfy your soul's desire - Wayne's New York American Lobster Steak Restaurant. The restaurant is located on Keelung Road, Xinyi District, Taipei City, about a 7-minute walk from the Taipei 101/World Trade Center MRT Station on the Red Line. The restaurant is decorated in a classic American style, and the sofa seats are designed with independent wooden seats that I personally like very much. Whether it is friends or couples dining together, they can all comfortably maintain their own dining space. For the meal, in addition to ordering lobster or steak meals, there are also three set menus to choose from. Since I wanted to enjoy lobster and steak at the same time, I chose a surf and turf set menu for two to celebrate my birthday. The set menu includes an appetizer (Spanish Iberian ham salad), soup (Boston lobster bisque), appetizer (charcoal-grilled thick bacon), lobster main course (steamed), steak main course (10 ounces of rib eye), and dessert (almond cream pie, caramel baked brulee). The lobster is very fresh, the set menu is diverse and rich, the portions are large and the ingredients are great. It can satisfy both people who want to eat seafood and those who love meat. If you want to celebrate a special holiday, I really recommend you to give it a try. - Soup - Boston lobster bisque, a soup with a very special taste. There is no lobster in the bisque, but it has a strong shrimp and wine flavor, which seems to be one of their specialties. Appetizer - classic charcoal grilled thick bacon. After it is served, the waiter will help to light the fire, so that the bacon will be roasted by the whiskey aroma, making the aroma more intense. Half of the bacon is sprinkled with fried garlic, and it also comes with horseradish sauce and spicy mayonnaise. The bacon is great alone or with the sauce. The main course - steamed Boston lobster, is delicious without any seasoning. It also comes with hot cream, which tastes slightly salty and goes very well with lobster. The lobster meat is very fresh, firm and chewy. Finally, the waiter will also kindly ask if you need help with the processing of the lobster claws, so that you can easily enjoy the complete lobster claws. The main course - rib-eye steak, is also one of the main dishes of this restaurant. The waiter recommends medium rare, so that there is no blood. However, if you are not used to eating steaks of this degree, you may find it a little raw. However, it is very tender, with more tendons in the meat. It is also served with mustard seeds and rose salt. Overall, it is a delicious dish. Dessert - Almond Cream Pie & Caramel Brulee.
