Darong Mountain National Forest Park is located on the top of Darong Mountain in Beiliu City, Guangxi, 1 hour's drive from Yulin City. The main peak, Lotus Peak, is 1,275.6 meters above sea level, the highest peak in southeastern Guangxi, and one of the few places in Guangxi where you can see snow. Darong Mountain has a variety of scenery and is known as the "Southern Western Mountain". When you walk up the mountain, you can see alpine meadows, alpine lakes, alpine waterfalls, mysterious forests, and other scenery. The pink chapel by the lake is particularly eye-catching and is popular with tourists. You can sit on the wooden bench by the lake and take a photo with the chapel, which looks great. The cedar forest next to the meadow is also a great place to check in. Transportation: Take the tourist bus from Beiliu City to the visitor center of the scenic area, and then take the sightseeing bus to the top of the mountain. You can also drive there and camp on the mountain for an overnight fee of CNY 60.
