Henan Xiangyan Temple

Xiangyan Temple is a historic temple located in Baiya Mountain, Cangfang Town, Xichuan County, Nanyang City, Henan Province. It is one of the four famous temples in Central China. The temple is uniquely located, with a lotus-shaped terrain, Longshan Mountain to the east, Hushan Mountain to the west, Houling Mountain to the north, and Mianshan Mountain to the south. The temple has several main buildings, including the Mountain Gate, Mahavira Hall, Weituo Hall, and Sutra Library. The Mahavira Hall is particularly important, with murals from the Ming Dynasty covering a total area of 403 square meters, which is very spectacular. 🚃Transportation From Shiyan, it takes about 50 km and about an hour to drive to Xiangyan Temple.
