Xiapu Yangjiaxi Scenic Area, the "Little Wuyi Mountains of Eastern Fujian"

🌲Yangjiaxi is located in Yacheng Town, northeast of Xiapu, on the west side of Mount Taimu. It is known as the "Little Wuyi Mountains of Eastern Fujian." Legend has it that the Yang family army of the Northern Song Dynasty once stationed here, hence the name Yangjiaxi. It is now part of the "Mount Taimu Scenic Area." 🌳The scenic area features both natural and cultural landscapes. The Rongfeng Park became a popular tourist destination after a photo of an elderly man leading a cow in Yangjiaxi won an award. Visitors can pay for costumes and props, and villagers will bring over a white goose or an old cow for photos. The smoke is also released by the villagers. The light and smoke filter through the large ancient banyan forest, creating a dreamy, tranquil, and idyllic atmosphere. The streams and maple forests in the mountains of Yangjiaxi Rongfeng Park (some red leaves remain on the maple trees in January) Reed marshes (the reeds turn yellow in winter, and late November is the most beautiful time) 🚙Travel route: You can drive directly from Xiapu County. If you have enough time, you can spend a whole day here. If you're short on time, you can drive through the scenic area and only stop at Rongfeng Park, then return to the east line of Xiapu to visit the coastal scenery, which makes for a perfect day trip.
