I've always loved the islands of Fujian. This time I went to Dongbi Village, and the sunset was absolutely stunning! There are also colorful houses on the cliffs, and the sunset view of the tidal flats is amazing. The guesthouse I stayed in felt like a dream of Santorini! 🌅 Dongbi Village Located in Dongbi Village, Xiapu County, Ningde City, Fujian Province. ✈️ If you're flying, you can first arrive in Fuzhou, then drive for 1 hour to Xiapu and 2 hours to Dongbi. 🚄 If you choose high-speed rail, you can get off at Xiapu Station or drive for 20 minutes from Ningde to Xiapu. My favorite photo spots (the sunset view is even more breathtaking): 1⃣️ Road leading to the sea: Located in the alley next to Yisheng Yisu, this is the best place to watch the sunset. Shooting from top to bottom is super romantic. 2⃣️ Dongbi Village sunset: The fishing village by the sea and the road leading to the sea are perfect spots for watching the sunset. 3⃣️ Gaoluo Beach: This is a beach for watching the sunrise, where you can witness the sun slowly rising from the sea level. 4⃣️ Haiwei Cape: Features a road facing the sea and a white castle. 5⃣️ Dajing Beach: Super clean white sand beach! 6⃣️ Danwan: There is an observation deck and a reef cave, but the road is difficult to walk, so be careful. 7⃣️ Xiaojing Beach: You can watch the sunrise here, and there is a campervan campsite. 8⃣️ Xiawei Island: Features a unique cave, and is also a good place to watch the sunrise. 9⃣️ Luxia Lighthouse: Facing Fuying Island, the lighthouse stands tall by the sea. 🚗 My travel route Depart from Xiapu County - Watch the sunset at Dongbi Village - Go to Gaoluo Beach - Then to Jishi Observation Deck - Then to Haiwei Castle - Then to Dajing Beach - Then to Danwan Observation Deck - Then to Xinghe RV Base - Then to Xiawei Island - Finally to Luxia Lighthouse 🦐 Recommended food There are many local delicacies in Xiapu, including sweet potato cups, rice dumplings, octopus, cold jellyfish salad, vermicelli porridge, stir-fried mud snails, chopped snails with scallion oil, stir-fried rice noodles, baby squid, stir-fried abalone, sword clams with scallion oil, Minnan paste (this is especially delicious, be sure to order it!), drunken shrimp and crab, salted and peppered dragonhead fish, salted and peppered mantis shrimp, oyster omelet, eight-treasure sturgeon rice, and stir-fried seafood vermicelli are also very delicious!
