Mount Siguniang Mountaineering Festival Kicks Off

On October 24th, the 8th Mount Siguniang Mountaineering Festival kicked off at the summits of Mount Siguniang's Dafeng (First Peak) and Erfeng (Second Peak). Autumn is in full swing, and the Mount Siguniang Scenic Area welcomes its most beautiful season. Snow-capped mountains shimmer with silver light, reflecting the maple forests covering the mountains, creating a picturesque landscape that is a paradise for photography and outdoor sports enthusiasts. Mount Siguniang Dafeng (First Peak), with an elevation of 5025 meters, is an ideal choice for beginner mountaineers, offering relatively well-established routes. The total climbing distance is approximately 15 kilometers, with an absolute ascent of over 1800 meters. From the summit, you can get a close-up view of Yaomei Peak and a dreamlike sea of clouds. The scenery is magnificent. Erfeng (Second Peak) has an elevation of 5276 meters. The entire route is approximately 24 kilometers of mountain trail, with an absolute ascent of over 2100 meters. The climbing difficulty is moderate, making it an excellent destination for mountaineering enthusiasts to climb their first snow-capped peak.
