The ancient city of Xiangyang is the most worthwhile place to visit in Xiangyang!

The ancient city of Xiangyang has always been a strategic military location, coveted for its position as a key north-south thoroughfare and its defensibility, surrounded by water on three sides, making it easy to defend but hard to attack! Today, the ancient city of Xiangyang still preserves its city walls from the Ming dynasty to the present day very well. Encircling the city walls is a wide and long moat. Taking a leisurely walk along the path beside the moat around the city walls, one not only enjoys the pleasant scenery but can also still feel the atmosphere of ancient battles, making it a very worthwhile visit! However, I wouldn't highly recommend the ancient streets within the ancient city of Xiangyang, as they are mostly replica streets with no unique features. The products sold are also quite similar and lack diversity, making them less worthy of a visit!
