Gulangyu Island One-Day Tour

I bought a non-resident ferry ticket to Gulangyu Island at the First Pier (round trip to Neicuo'ao Pier for ¥50). Initially, I planned to circle the island and visit some exhibitions for rest along the way. However, it started raining unexpectedly, so I took shelter in the Foreign Artifacts Museum of the Palace Museum. I strolled leisurely, admiring the architecture and scenery, but ultimately only managed to visit less than half of the planned spots. My route: First Pier—Neicuo'ao Pier—Yanwei Mountain Noon Battery—Foreign Artifacts Museum of the Palace Museum (ticket ¥50)—Former Site of the U.S. Consulate—Former Site of the Boat House—Former Site of HSBC Mansion—Bijia Mountain—Chuncao Hall—Sunlight Rock (ticket ¥50)—Mayohn Square—Catholic Church—Sanqiutian Pier—Ferry Pier The view from Sunlight Rock is truly spectacular and well worth the ticket price.
