Comparable to a resort, when taking kids to Xiamen, stay at this hotel

The Portman Hotel's anniversary room voucher is incredibly cost-effective! When traveling with kids, there's not much need to visit attractions; the main thing is that the room is comfortable, close to the beach, has a swimming pool, and ideally, a children's playground, which Portman Hotel just happens to meet. The hotel launches various themed activities during holidays, and there are different parent-child events at various times every day, allowing kids to have a lot of fun without leaving the hotel. 🏊🏻‍♀️ The hotel has both indoor and outdoor swimming pools, but due to the weather, only the indoor pool was open, located at B1 of Xihai, with an adult pool, a children's pool, and two hot spring pools. 🎠 The indoor children's playground is located at B1 of Ruihai, and although it's not big, it's very fun, and my child wanted to play there every day during our stay. In addition to the children's playground, there is also an indoor go-kart track, which requires an additional fee. The outdoor children's playground and climbing area are adjacent to Yihai Town. 🏖️ There are many seaside hotels on Xiamen Island, but few have beaches; only hotels outside the island have this benefit. From the door at Xihai B1, you can directly reach the beach. In winter, you can't swim, but you can still play in the sand. 🏨 Portman Hotel consists of three areas: Xihai, Ruihai, and Yihai Town, each with its own distinct style. We stayed in Yihai Town for the first two nights and Xihai for the last two nights to experience different styles. Xihai is known for its French romantic charm and has the highest configuration and largest scale among the three areas. Yihai Town is the most recognizable, resembling a European castle, with bright colors in the rooms, which the kids absolutely love. However, there is no breakfast restaurant here, so you need to go to Xihai to eat. But the hotel has a courtesy car that can travel between different areas. 🚘 It's only about twenty minutes by car to Gaoqi Airport and Xiamen North Railway Station, and just a dozen minutes to Jimei School Village. However, it might take some time to get to the island, and public transportation is not very convenient, which is probably the only downside of this place. 🛎️ The service is very good. When I called the front desk to confirm the reservation, I added a staff member, and she followed our order until we checked out, during which she also arranged for us to upgrade our room and have a late checkout, making our stay very pleasant. Next time we come to Xiamen, we will continue to stay at Portman✌🏻
