Xixia Temple | One of the most stunning places in Shanxi.

Why not worship when you see the future? Xixia Temple, also known as Qianfo Nunnery, is a Zen Buddhist temple founded by Zen Master Dongming in the second year of the Ming Chongzhen period. The temple is built on the mountain, and the Mahavira Hall is full of gods and Buddhas, which is known as the "suspended sculpture masterpiece" in the history of Chinese sculpture art.  Here are some practical tips: ✔️Try to travel during off-peak hours and avoid holidays and weekends. I went on October 8, and there were far fewer people, so the visit was quite good. ✔️Xixia Temple is on the mountain, so remember to wear comfortable flat shoes. It is better to go in the morning when the light is good and there is less noise in the photos. ✔️Try to take photos with a camera 📷, and do not use a flash ❌. Although the effect of the phone is slightly better, the tolerance of the camera is much greater if you want to do post-processing, especially for those dark parts. If possible, bring both wide-angle and telephoto lenses (I brought a Sony A7CR, 24-105) and use the raw format. ✔️Post-process with LR to adjust the color and brighten the shadows.
