The autumn colors of Huangling... / Traveling with a beauty from Liaoning

September 16, 2024 The azure sky is filled with pure, wild white clouds, creating a striking contrast with the vibrant autumn colors on the ground. The autumn scenery of Huangling, set against the blue sky and white clouds, appears more layered and dynamic, full of magnificent and enchanting autumn charm. This is my second time stepping into the autumn landscape painting of Wuyuan Huangling. Coincidentally, I traveled with a beautiful woman from Liaoning. During the more than two hours of scenic sightseeing and photo stops, she, who is beautiful, persistent, and loves beauty photography, left a strong impression of being energetic, independent, confident, and full of curiosity. She also brought us laughter and a visual feast along the way. Taking the cable car and exiting the ropeway station, we walked together across Leixin Bridge and Tianjie Street, climbed up to Yixin Building, Shende Hall, Wugui Hall, the Sun-Drying Autumn Family, and Dan Shui Alley. On the way down, we strolled leisurely through Zhuxu Hall and wandered freely between Huaxi Water Street — her posing with a selfie stick on Leixin Bridge or her focused expression taking photos in front of the Sun-Drying Autumn Family with colorful crops made this autumn before us feel even more vivid and romantic. The core highlights of the route are briefly introduced as follows: Cable Car Viewing: Take the Terraced Fields Ropeway (Line B) The ascent takes about 10 minutes, and at certain times you can overlook panoramic views of the terraced fields and bamboo sea. Leixin Bridge: A glass plank walkway spanning the canyon, offering a view of lush terraced fields and the autumn harvest below. At the bridgehead, you can also try the high-altitude zipline experience. Tianjie Ancient Alley: The cobblestone Tianjie Street is lined on both sides with Hui-style shops where you can taste local snacks. Among them, the photography bar’s viewing window is recognized as an excellent spot for capturing photos. Huangling Yixin Building, Wugui Hall, and Shende Hall: These are representative buildings of the ancient village of Huangling, known for their Hui-style architecture and exquisite carvings. The sun-drying autumn scenes here are especially classic. Shende Hall features clan culture, with classical calligraphy and paintings hanging inside, allowing visitors to appreciate the cultural heritage of the ancient village. Sun-Drying Autumn Family: The round bamboo mats on the rooftops are covered with chili peppers and corn, forming a colorful folk autumn painting. Dan Shui Alley: It is said that the narrow, tidy alley preserves ancient wells and water-carrying tools. Zhuxu Hall: A landmark building of the ancient village of Huangling, built during the Chongzhen period of the Ming Dynasty, led by Cao Yuangong (the county magistrate of Xingshan County, Huguang, at the end of the Ming Dynasty). It now represents Hui-style wood carving art. Huaxi Water Street: A sloped commercial and entertainment street featuring streams, water mist installations, and floral landscapes. The water street combines leisure businesses with agricultural cultural landscapes, offering a cool and refreshing sightseeing experience. It is affectionately called the "Jiangxi version of Little Lijiang" and a "water-ink fairyland." Here, I sincerely thank the beautiful woman from Liaoning once again!
