The water alleys of Jiangnan, a unique gem along the canal! Street (Ancient Canal Town) Wuxi·Jiangsu

I've been sharing pictures of northern mountains and ancient towns lately, but for a change of pace, I revisited the old grounds of Wuxi and Suzhou to see the quaint streets and scenes of the south! After getting off the high-speed train and having dinner, I arrived at Wuxi's popular old street—Nanchang Street (Ancient Canal Town). Located in the Wuxi section of the ancient canal, it is composed of ancient temples, pagodas, canals, streets, bridges, kilns, and lanes, all with unique charm, and is known as 'the water alleys of Jiangnan, a unique gem along the canal.' Among them, Qingming Bridge is the largest ancient stone arch bridge still existing in Wuxi, with a history of over four hundred years. It still spans the canal today and is a landmark of the district. Visiting here, you can stroll through the old streets, taste delicious food, take a boat ride, and listen to tunes, enjoying the unique petite bourgeoisie atmosphere of Jiangnan!
