Zhongjiang Tower: One of the ancient buildings in Wuhu City, located on the embankment at the intersection of Qingyi River and Yangtze River at the bridge entrance of Binjiang Road, Jinghu District, Wuhu City. It was built in the 46th year of the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty (1618 AD) and rebuilt in the 8th year of the Kangxi period of the Qing Dynasty (1669 AD). It took nearly 60 years to complete, spanning the Ming and Qing Dynasties, and integrating the architectural styles of the late Ming and early Qing Dynasties. It is a famous brick and wood structure Fengshui pagoda in the style of a pavilion. At that time, the tower was built to enhance the scenery of the river. Zhongjiang Tower stands at the mouth of the Qingyi River, and after hundreds of years of wind and rain, it is still magnificent and has become one of the "New Ten Sceneries" of Wuhu City.
