After staying at this hotel, we didn't even want to go home!

📍[Prime Location and River View🌆] The hotel is located at 159 Yanjiang Avenue, Hankou, a stone's throw from the Hankou Bund, a 10-minute walk from Jianghan Road Pedestrian Street, and approx. 1.4 km from Dazhilu Station on Metro Line 6. As one of the first five-star hotels on the Yangtze River, its 270° river view rooms are like "mobile viewing platforms," with the bathroom area and bedroom both directly facing the Yangtze River. At night, you can lie down and watch the light show, and in the morning, you will be awakened by the sound of ship whistles and the Jianghan Customs bell. Within walking distance are cultural landmarks such as the Lihuangpi Road Historic District and the Wuhan Art Museum, making it an excellent starting point for a Citywalk. 🛏️[Renovated Rooms and Detail Disputes🛋️] The hotel began a phased renovation in 2024. Currently, some guest rooms above the 30th floor have been upgraded, featuring bright colors and floor-to-ceiling windows, and equipped with Dyson hair dryers, ELLE toiletries, and a free mini-bar. However, some lower-floor rooms still have aging hardware, such as manual curtains, old-fashioned bedside lamps, and sofa stains. It is recommended to note "renovated floor" when booking. Commendably, the bathroom has a separate shower and toilet and is spacious. Some room types have bathtubs with windows, so you can enjoy the river view while taking a bath. 👨🍳[Dining Experience and Themed Features🍴] Breakfast is served in the Savvy all-day dining restaurant on the 2nd floor. Local snacks such as hot dry noodles and fried glutinous rice are authentic, but freshly squeezed juice requires an extra fee, and the overall variety is conventional. The executive lounge has been relocated to the 34th floor and has been completely renovated. Afternoon tea offers freshly made desserts and San Pellegrino sparkling water. Happy hour offers Chinese/Western set menus (such as Sichuan-style Maocai and French foie gras), which are generous in portion and require advance reservation. For dinner, you can choose the themed buffet in the Western restaurant on the 2nd floor (such as Sichuan hot pot and Thai Food Festival). The open kitchen with freshly grilled seafood and the secret braised pot are highlights. 💁[Service Highlights and Improvement Space💡] The front desk is attentive to GHA member benefits, and proactively provides points to deduct room fees. Welcome fruit and Wuhan-featured bookmarks are given upon check-in. However, some service details need to be improved: no one to lead the way for breakfast, repeated reminders for service in the lounge, and the design of the parking lot entrance is prone to congestion. The gym and constant-temperature swimming pool are located on the 4th floor. The swimming pool has a river-view jacuzzi, but the number of equipment is limited, and the morning experience is better.
