Whimsy Winchester and Frugal Fun👀

Winchester is worth a day trip if you’re in a commutable distance - the architecture and vibes alone make it a great place to visit, but the free and cheap activities only increase its worth! 🌿 We went to the City Mill, a free National Trust property, which has a working flour mill and water wheel. It’s right on the river with some pretty views. 📜 We bought the Explorer ticket at the Great Hall for around £13, this got us in to not only the Great Hall with the giant table, but also the City Museum, and the Gate Museum. The Gate Museum with its high vantage point and interesting info was my favourite! 🤩 By far, one of my biggest recommendations though is the Tillius gift and decor shop. If you’re into the slightly weird and wonderful - it fits the vibe! They have some really nice jewellery too!
