Transportation Take bus No. 28, 51, 68, 92, or B105 to Jiangxin Pier Station, and then take a ferry to Jiangxin Island. Tour Route After arriving on the island, visit the former site of the British Consulate in Wenzhou to experience British-style architecture and take photos. Then head to the East Pagoda, which was built in the Southern Song Dynasty and has a peculiar tree on top. Next, visit Jiangxin Temple and admire the couplets written by Wang Shipeng on both sides of the main gate. Then visit the Temple of Wen Tianxiang and Haoran Tower to experience the historical and cultural heritage. After that, head to the West Pagoda to admire the small niches and stone Buddha statues on each floor. Finally, take a stroll around Gongqing Lake and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Food Recommendations There are stalls selling snacks and drinks on the island, such as Dengzhan Cake and fish ball soup. If you want to try more food, you can go to Wuma Street and other places in downtown Wenzhou after your visit.
