Departing from Hangzhou, I took a 2hrs high-speed train to seek a quiet retreat in the mountains of Wenzhou. There's no need to go to Ubud in Bali, as here you can also find terraced fields that are similarly layered. Full of a sense of seclusion, I checked into a pool twin room with an exquisite wild luxury style. Materials like cotton linen and raw wood bring the comfort level to the max. The room has a nearly 4m extended bathtub, which is probably a first for the Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai region. The hotel has many thoughtful details that make one feel cared for, not just the high-end toiletries, but also the welcome fruit at the entrance, the late-night goodnight dessert, and even a flashlight prepared on the key card for convenient lighting. Dinner was at the secluded restaurant, with creative fusion cuisine that was very romantic. The restaurant was decorated with many fresh flowers and fruits, offering a fresh and refreshing fragrance. I tasted the famous tofu from Zeya, which the chef decorated with delicate patterns, making it a feast for the eyes, nose, and mouth. Waking up in the morning to the chirping of birds and the shadows of bamboo, the butler delivered breakfast at the scheduled time, welcoming a new day.
