Manchester Day Trip: Powis Castle! 🏰🌳

#summervacay Wales truly is incredibly beautiful! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 Powis Castle is managed by the National Trust. Recently, they had a free event in partnership with "In Your Area," so I chose Powis Castle, which was within a 2-hour drive from where I was. This place isn't huge, and while there are many small hills around, they are all private property, so you can only explore the Castle and its Gardens – no hiking outside the grounds. Getting There: By Train: Get off at Welshpool station, then it's about a 30-minute walk. By Car: You can drive directly to the Castle's parking lot, and there are plenty of spaces available. 🚗 Tickets: The Ticket Office is right next to the parking lot where you can pick up maps. Even for free tickets (like the one from the partnership), you need to scan your QR code there to exchange it for an actual ticket.
