I was hesitating whether to stay at Jinshi Di in Weishan that night, a SLH member hotel known as the "Little Aman." It is called Little Aman because the hotel rooms converted from Jinshi's old house are indeed very similar to Aman Dayan (the interior design team of Aman Dayan was invited), and it is really small! Later, I was invited into the hotel to see the rooms, and I was completely attracted by this pond, so I stayed. It turned out that the rooms were indeed ordinary, and the materials and configurations were indeed several levels lower. Of course, such a comparison is unfair in itself. The hotel is connected by four courtyards. If all guests have to walk through the main axis, the experience must be very poor. Therefore, when sorting out the layout, the former boss of the company, Mr. Chen Yifeng, turned the side courtyard on the south side into the main pedestrian flow line, and this pond is the essence of this line. The moment you pass through the doorway, it is like entering a different world, the Jiangnan of literati, with gray tiles, white walls, plantains, small bridges, and flowing water, making you suddenly slow down and temporarily put aside your worries. In fact, a large number of new Chinese-style hotel residential areas have made Chinese gardens become a cliché, imitating others. But even by strict garden standards, the construction of this side courtyard is indeed a work of care, with distant and near, high and low, artificial and natural, each in its place, and the "Jade Pavilion" by the pond is modern and elegant, square but not rigid, highlighting the natural beauty, and perfectly fitting in with the ancient atmosphere. Under the cover of several ancient trees, the texture of the jade and the mottled walls tell the story of time together. At night, when the lights illuminate the pavilion, you can better appreciate the exquisite choice of stone. From Tao Yuanming to Su Dongpo, ancient Chinese literati, after being burdened by life and official career, did not choose religion but chose to enter the garden, to express their feelings for nature and comfort their spirits. And this small and beautiful hotel, because it was once the residence of Jinshi, has gained cultural imagination, and has completed sublimation in this small paradise.
