Warooka: small town with big nature attractions

#australiatrip Warooka is the place to stay for family bonding when exploring the Yorke Peninsula in South Australia. About a 2.5-3 hour drive from Adelaide, this little town is truly what one would call ‘quaint’. It has all the basic amenities (even a post office!) within walking distance of everything. Use this town as a base to visit beaches, pink salt lakes, cliffs, parks and much more! We loved discovering the sea birds just over the cliff and the salt lakes here are so huge that we could even wall on them! We also had the opportunity to go squidding 🦑 on a jetty nearby as well as spotted dolphins ❤️🐬 Bring board games for the night unless you are heading out for some star-gazing 🌟🌟🌟 You can also do both, of course! 😂 It’s a beautiful place to visit especially if you want to avoid the normal touristy crowd.
