🛵Transportation Wanning doesn't have an airport. You can fly to Haikou or Sanya and then take a train to Shenzhou Station or Wanning Station. We recommend Shenzhou Station, as it's closer to the main attractions (Haikou or Sanya are both fine, just choose the cheaper flight). 🏠Accommodation There are many homestays in Riyue Bay. Most are by the sea and offer good value for money, making them ideal for budget travelers. It's also very lively at night. Shimei Bay and Shenzhou Peninsula have many high-end hotels with convenient transportation, making them ideal for a relaxing vacation. Xinglong Town has a wide variety of options. Transportation: The bays are far apart, so we recommend driving. If you're only visiting one bay, you can rent an electric bike and ride along the coast. There are many great photo spots. 2. Accommodation: If it's your first time, we recommend staying in Shimei Bay, which is between Riyue Bay and Shenzhou Peninsula, so it's close to everything. 3. Shopping: Remember to haggle at night markets and stalls! Don't pay more than 40 for braids or 15 for coconuts. 4. Sun protection: Coastal cities have strong UV rays all year round, so make sure to protect yourself from the sun while enjoying the cool weather. 5. Surfing: Compare options and find a professional and patient coach. We recommend bringing your own rash guard, which will keep you warm and protect you from the sun. If you wear glasses, bring disposable contact lenses. 6. Photos: Beach bars and coastal roads are great for photos. If you want to take photos for social media, make sure to go on a sunny day.
