Wanning - Hainan

Wanning is a resort on the east coast of Hainan and can be reached by train from either Haikou or Sanya. The train is cheap and the journey is fast with nice scenery too. The waves in Wanning are perfect for surfing and is a recommended place to go for those that are interested in water sports. Along the beach, there are a small number of western themed bars and restaurants with one bar that stays open quite late.
