Eat in Wan Chai. Pici

The first dinner gathering between Wow and his friends after the dinner market resumed dine-in, the location was chosen at #pici in #Wan Chai. Pici does not have a reservation service, but luckily I didn’t have to wait for a table that night and was seated on the first floor. The menu is just one page long and doesn't have many choices. After ordering, the waiter first brought bread in a paper bag, and also prepared vinegar and olive oil. There are five pieces of bread in the paper bag. They will taste better if they are slightly toasted before serving. The appetizer Tuna Avocado Tartar ($120) not only has the main ingredient tuna, but also comes with avocado and pickled red onions. Personally, I think there could be more avocado. Freshly shaved black truffle linguine ($180) is one of the signature dishes. The freshly shaved black truffle is particularly fragrant and paired with handmade pasta, it is no wonder that it is so popular. The slow-cooked beef cheek meat sauce with wide noodles ($140) tasted good, with a strong meaty flavor, and the wide noodles and thin flat noodles each had their own unique characteristics. For dessert, we ordered Italian cheesecake ($60). The taste and texture were very good, not too sweet or greasy. However, we had to deduct some points for the appearance, as it looked like it had been in the refrigerator for a long time.
