Maldives Field Trip—St. Regis is here!

[Service] St. Regis gave me the feeling of top-notch service. From the moment I stepped out of the airport, there was a dedicated Alpha to transfer us to the seaplane lounge, where we could enjoy refreshments and relax while waiting for the seaplane. The seaplane journey took 45 minutes. The island is equipped with dedicated Chinese-speaking service, and when we left the Maldives, they provided full service until our luggage was checked in and waved goodbye to us at the boarding gate. Every day, they can help guests wash and iron two pieces of clothing and also help pack luggage. [Check-in Experience] The room is designed in a modern hotel style, with an iPad controlling the lights, air conditioning, curtains, and TV in the entire room. Bicycles are available at the doorstep, or you can call the butler for a ride. When in the room, I turned up the volume of the Luxardo Maraschino liqueur sound system to the max and danced around, bringing the Phoenix Legend to the world! [Sense of Ritual] Every day at sunset, at 6:45 PM, there's a grand champagne ceremony at the Whale Bar, following the old St. Regis tradition of opening champagne with a saber. The sense of ritual is impeccable. There's a dedicated wine cellar where you can book dinner. Although I can only handle a tiny bit of alcohol, the slight tipsiness was quite enjoyable! The island has tennis courts, table tennis, a gym, and can also help take care of children aged 4-12. There are also teachers who conduct craft classes where children can paint, cook desserts, and make handmade ornaments. Each piece is signed and photographed as a souvenir. [Island Tour Duration] It takes 20 minutes to walk around the island and 7 minutes by bike. There are five restaurants to choose from. The most impressive one for me was the Japanese Kaiseki restaurant, T-pan. This requires advance booking, and the entire restaurant has only two tables. Our table was served by a chef from Indonesia who prepared the food on the spot. If you want ultimate relaxation, try the Blue Hole Spa followed by an aromatherapy massage for complete relaxation! They also have special beach bags and logo straw hats (100% cotton), which are designer items. Girls will love them, and they're perfect for photos.
