The once glorious palace

The Visegrád Palace is one of the residences of the Hungarian kings. It is the birthplace of the revolutionary base and a commemorative palace with political significance. The most important attraction is the Solomon Tower, which is located at the top of the ancient castle, from where the water and land traffic on the Danube River can be controlled. Although the palace building is dilapidated, with broken walls, making one lament the ruthlessness of time, it is still believed that during the reign of King Matthias, it reached its peak of glory.
