Phra Kaew Temple (Vientiane, Laos)

Haw Phra Kaew used to be a temple in Vientiane, Laos, to enshrine the Emerald Buddha in the past. It is located on Setthathirath Road, southwest of Wat Sisaket. Today, inside is a religious art museum and a small shop, as well as knowledge about the Lao royal family and valuable antiques. Inside is beautiful and peaceful. The items in the museum are rare antiques, including Buddha images, antique utensils, etc. From the balcony of Haw Phra Kaew, you can see the President's Palace (the former Grand Palace) and the surrounding gardens. There are art paintings on display in the garden area. It is another popular tourist destination.
