Experience at Vienna Lounge

Comfortable waiting time before flying to Bangkok with EVA Air. This time, I flew from Vienna to Bangkok with EVA Air and had the opportunity to use the Vienna Lounge located at Vienna International Airport (VIE) before boarding. The overall experience was quite pleasant, so I’d like to share my thoughts on this lounge. 📍Location and Access The Vienna Lounge is situated in the Schengen area on the G level of the airport, about a 5-10 minute walk from the security checkpoint. Access is granted to EVA Air business class passengers or Star Alliance Gold cardholders. 🍴Food Options The food selection was more diverse than expected, featuring traditional German and Austrian items like sausages, bread, and salads, as well as hot dishes such as pasta and stir-fried vegetables. The dessert section included mini cakes, fruits, and cookies. Coffee, beer, and various alcoholic beverages were self-serve, making it a great option for flights departing in the morning or evening. 🪑Space and Comfort The seating area is spacious, divided into dining and relaxation zones, with plenty of power outlets and USB ports for charging. The Wi-Fi was stable, and large windows offered views of the tarmac, making it a relaxing experience to watch planes while unwinding. Despite a fair number of users, the lounge didn’t feel crowded, and the overall atmosphere was quiet and comfortable. 💬Conclusion The Vienna Lounge is a great place to relax before departure, with its environment, food, and facilities meeting expectations. Coupled with EVA Air’s high-quality flight experience, it makes the journey comfortable even before boarding. If I pass through Vienna Airport again, I’d be happy to revisit this lounge!
