The City of Romeo and Juliet, Verona

I visited Verona, the city of Romeo and Juliet. Even its name sounds romantic, Verona😍 Here are some of the most memorable moments from my trip: 💙 Opera Festival The main reason I wanted to visit Verona was purely because of the Opera Festival. Held annually, the Verona Opera Festival takes place in the ancient Roman amphitheater, the Arena. Watching an opera in an outdoor venue—what an incredible experience! Since you'll be sitting on marble floors to watch the performance, it's a good idea to bring a cushion! Also, the hot Verona sun heats up the marble, so don't forget to bring a fan. Verona nights are sizzling hot. ♥️ Castel San Pietro Viewpoint This is the perfect spot to take in a panoramic view of Verona. You can take the funicular to reach the top, but I chose to walk leisurely. The view of Verona from the viewpoint was truly romantic. It would also be a great place to visit at night for the city lights. 💛 Visiting Verona made me think, "No wonder Romeo and Juliet fell in love here." This romantic city is definitely worth a visit.
