2 Days in the City of Romance — Venice

🇮🇹 — Venice 🏠 Accommodation Joivy Venezia San Giobbe Overall: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 1. Location: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Next to train station, do not need to take expensive water taxi to the hotel ✅ which could definitely save your money! 💰 2. View: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The most beautiful sunset (pic 10 & 11) could be seen through my room window 🪟 or you could bring some snacks and wine🍷 , prepare camera tripod and go downstairs to enjoy one of the most incredible sunsets in your life. 🌅 We were so regretful that we only spent 2 nights in this gorgeous place… should’ve stayed longer 📍Itinerary Overview 🗓️ Day 1 We arrived Venezia Santa Lucia station 🚉 at 6am, stored our luggage in hotel reception and took a long walk around the town. 📍Piazza San Marco The open square surrounding by vibrant hub filled with cafes, street musicians, and the rich ambiance of Venetian history. You could get a quick coffee ☕️ and enjoy the sea view 🌊 nearby. But it is so crowded. 📍Traghetto Gondole Molo (pic 3) Offers a quick and authentic gondola experience across the Grand Canal. Tbh the price is not cheap, it costs €90 for only 20-30 minutes ride, but still it is on my bucket list💸, I think every one who goes Venice should experience this! I’d say it’s the fastest way to have an overview of Venice 🛶 💡In Venice, you don’t really need to do so many researches or plan a detailed itinerary or specific landmarks to visit. Just keep curious and explore various narrow streets, maybe you'll have already finished exploring the entire city. You might even discover your own unique photo spots📸 in those side streets and alleyways. But be ready for a few hours long walk 😉 🗓️ Day 2 📍Island of glass — Murano Different from the bustling streets in Venice, Murano is a less crowded island in where you could explore artisan workshops and watch skilled craftsmen create beautiful glass pieces. 🥛 The island's picturesque canals and colorful buildings provide a captivating backdrop for leisurely strolls. 📍Island of lace — Burano With its colorful houses, Burano is a picturesque island that feels like a painter's palette come to life. You can explore charming shops and admire intricate lacework. The serene canals and welcoming atmosphere make it a perfect spot for leisurely walks and photography. 💡Recommendation Visit Murano and Burano in the same day! ⏳1-2 hours in Murano ⏳2-3 hours in Burano
