Design Sharing Venice Venice Hotel

I recently discovered a treasure of an art hotel that I absolutely adore: the Venice Venice Hotel. First of all, the hotel building itself is a cultural and historical heritage site. Widely believed to have been built around the 11th century, it's also the site of the Campiello del Leon Bianco, one of the earliest hotels in Europe, dating back 500 years. For centuries, it served as an important stopover for kings, tsars, and emperors, as well as luminaries like Voltaire, Mozart, and Shelley during their long journeys. After being restored by a design team, it now showcases a blend of old and new. You arrive at the hotel entrance via a boat, a unique Venetian mode of transport, and then ascend the steps to the hotel's public area on the first floor. Each of the 45 rooms is a separate exhibition. The hotel's founders have been collecting art for 25 years, and they've designed each room as an independent exhibition space, showcasing an artist or an important movement with custom interior decor.
