Hotel Review: Staycity Venice Mestre

During our recent trip to Venice, we stayed at Staybridge Suites Venice Mestre, and it turned out to be a great choice for comfort, convenience, and value. 🌟 Check-in & Service Upon arrival, the front desk staff was welcoming and efficient, making the check-in process smooth and hassle-free. To our delight, they even upgraded us to a bigger room, which was a fantastic surprise. Throughout our stay, the staff remained friendly and helpful, always available to assist with any questions or requests. 🏠 Room & Amenities The upgraded suite was impressively spacious, featuring: ✔️ A comfortable king-size bed ✔️ Two single sofa beds – ideal for families or groups ✔️ A fully equipped kitchen with all essential appliances and utensils, perfect for preparing meals ✔️ A modern and clean bathroom with quality toiletries The room was well-maintained, quiet, and designed for a cozy, home-like stay, making it a great option for both short and long-term visitors. 📍 Location The hotel is in Mestre, offering a strategic location for travelers who want easy access to Venice while avoiding the high prices and crowds of staying in the city center. ✔️ Mestre Train Station is nearby, with frequent trains to Venice Santa Lucia (~10 minutes ride, €1.50 one-way). ✔️ Bus connections to Venice are also available. ✔️ The area around the hotel is peaceful, with supermarkets, restaurants, and shops within walking distance. 🛠️ Facilities ✔️ Onsite laundry facilities – Available for €10 per wash & dry, convenient for longer stays. ✔️ Breakfast option – For €13.50 per person, guests can enjoy a selection of hot and cold items, though it’s optional if you prefer to self-cater using the in-room kitchen. 🚀 Check-out Experience The check-out process was just as smooth as check-in, with no delays or issues. 💡 Final Thoughts Pros: ✅ Spacious and comfortable rooms ✅ Fully equipped kitchen for convenience ✅ Great service and free upgrade ✅ Good location with easy transport to Venice ✅ Onsite laundry for long-term travelers Cons: ❌ Breakfast is optional but might not be worth the extra cost if you plan to cook your own meals ❌ Some guests may prefer staying directly in Venice rather than commuting Overall, Staybridge Suites Venice Mestre is a fantastic choice for those who prefer spacious accommodations, self-catering options, and a quieter stay outside the main tourist areas. Would definitely recommend it for both short and extended visits to Venice! #favouriteitinerary
