Maldives at Velassaru Resort,

#maldiveshotel It was our first time in Maldives at Velassaru Resort, and it was very nice. Our over the water villa had beautiful furnishings and direct access to the water. The food options ranged from okay to amazing in the E restaurant. Prices were average for the 5* resort. What we would like to provide feedback about is the scores of Russian children left unattended by their parents or nannies running wild in all areas, especially in the only 1 pool. We found them very loud and poor mannered. It is understandable since their parents behaved similarly. Resort should have a crash course on basic island etiquette, like not peeing or throwing cigarette buds from your over the ocean patio (credits to our villa neighbors). Transfer both ways were done very well by staff!
