Wandering Through Chelva

#summervacay Okay, Chelva totally surprised me in the best way. It’s this sleepy little town tucked in the mountains of Valencia, and honestly? It feels like stepping into a time machine, but in a super charming, not-creepy way. The old quarter is a maze of narrow cobbled streets, random archways, and whitewashed houses that are way too photogenic. You can just wander forever and get "happily lost." There’s also this awesome trail called the "Ruta del Agua" (Water Route), super easy walk with cool spots by the river, mini waterfalls, and little caves. Perfect if you're lazy but still want nature vibes. I even stumbled across some Roman ruins and a cute old mosque turned church, Chelva’s got layers! Best part? No tourist chaos. It’s quiet, peaceful, and people are so friendly. If you're ever in Valencia and want a day that feels like a chill storybook escape, Chelva’s calling. Just don’t forget your walking shoes (and your camera).
