Magic of Altay mountains

I hiked to Belukha Mountain in Altay, Russia, and it was honestly one of the most unforgettable experiences I've had. The journey took me 12 days, covering around 110 km along the Akkem and Kucherla rivers. The landscape is breathtaking – lush forests, clear rivers, and dramatic mountain views. The path can be tough, but the peace and beauty make it totally worth it. This is a real into the wild!!! The most memorable part was waking up with Belukha in the distance, seeing the glacier and the surrounding peaks. The route is remote, so I really felt connected with nature, and the silence is something I’ll never forget. Tips: Be prepared for some challenging stretches.
