Ureshino Taishoya - One night stay with two meals

One month before departure, I booked the Dazhengwu Hotel on Ctrip. The price was quite cheap, 3,400 for a room with 4 people, one room and two meals. I guess it’s because it’s summer, so prices are more expensive in winter. In addition, there will be a hot spring tax of 150 yen per person when checking out. 🌁Decoration style: Very Japanese-style hotel, tatami and window paper 🏘️Room type/layout: Our room is on the 5th floor. The 4-person room is actually quite large. The entrance, corridor, bedroom, toilet, and bathroom are well separated. There is a Western-style room with 2 beds and a tatami room. Someone will make the bed during dinner. The bathroom also has hot spring water + wooden bathtub. You can also take a hot spring bath in the room without going to the large hot spring pool. The room is equipped with a bathrobe and toiletry bag for each person, and the toiletry bag is full of items. 🎠Tour items: Hot springs in Taishoya: There are two hot springs in Taishoya. Shiki no Yu is the largest. Although it is indoors, the environment when entering is not inferior to Shiiba Sanso. On the first floor of the basement is a hot spring pool that can only be used by hotel guests. There is only one pool where you can soak in the hot spring while watching the fat carps swimming around through the glass. The toiletries and cosmetics used by Taishoya are POLO and Sekkisei. Shiiba Sanso: There is a shuttle bus from Daishoya to Shiiba Sanso. Shiiba Sanso has a large outdoor hot spring with mountain and stream views. The scenery is very beautiful. We took the bus to Shiiba Sanso at 4:30 and arrived at 5:00. 15 car return trip. Just a break for dinner. 🍽️Dining features: Dinner is Kaiseki cuisine, and the presentation is exquisite. There is a menu with several dishes, and each dish will be explained how to eat it. Each dish is not much and is delicious. The best is Saga Wagyu beef, which melts in your mouth and brings back endless rewards. There are four kinds of sashimi, which are very fresh. Each dish may not seem like much, but it’s actually very filling and has a reasonable nutritional mix. Breakfast and dinner are in the same restaurant and at the same location. There is a hand-drawn breakfast menu. You can know what to eat just by looking at the picture. You can also choose to ask for rice or porridge. We chose porridge. Porridge, tea and porridge are very fragrant and delicious. Free flow of soy milk, orange juice and coffee. I have to say that Ureshino’s soy milk is really rich and has the feeling of hanging on the wall. One bowl of yudofu per person. The yudofu in Daishoya is thicker than the ones on the hot spring street. It has a bean flavor and is really delicious. 💰️Per capita consumption: 3400 for a room with 4 people 💗Other tips: Free coffee and cola drinks are provided on the second floor of Dazhengya from 7:00-21:00 every day. There is iced coffee, which can be taken away. The hot soup is so hot that you can have a cup of iced coffee. The location of the Daishoya in the hot spring town is also good. It is a 3-minute walk to the foot bath, a 5-minute walk to Toyotama-hime Shrine, and a 1-minute walk to the Ureshino Bus Center.
