Hiking Up Harder Kulm in March: A Swiss Adventure! 🏔️

#outdooradventure Harder Kulm, the Top of Interlaken, is famous for its breathtaking views of Lake Thun, Lake Brienz, and the towering peaks of Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau. While most visitors take the funicular, we decided to hike up—and what an adventure it was! In March, the trail was a mix of early spring freshness and lingering winter magic. The lower sections were relatively clear, with crisp mountain air and the scent of pine trees, but as we gained elevation, patches of snow and icy paths made for an exciting (and sometimes slippery!) trek. Good hiking shoes and trekking poles are a must! The ascent took around 2-3 hours, with rewarding panoramic views along the way. Reaching the summit, we were greeted by the famous Harder Kulm Panorama Platform, offering an unreal bird’s-eye view of Interlaken and the turquoise lakes below. The cozy Harder Kulm Restaurant was the perfect place to warm up with a steaming cup of Swiss hot chocolate before heading back down. Hiking Harder Kulm in March is a challenging but unforgettable experience, blending winter charm with hints of spring.
