Uji City is one of the must-visit places when traveling to Kyoto. It only takes 20-30 minutes to get from Kyoto to Uji, making transportation very convenient. 🚇🚞🚕🚌🚘 One of the most iconic landmarks in Uji is the World Heritage Site Byodo-in Temple. Visitors to Uji will definitely visit Byodo-in, and the most popular photo spot is undoubtedly the Phoenix Hall. On a sunny day, the reflection of the Phoenix Hall in the pond is incredibly beautiful, and tourists flock here to take pictures. Did you know? The relief on the back of the 10 yen coin is actually the Phoenix Hall! ⛩️🇯🇵🏯 Right outside Byodo-in is Omotesando, a shopping street where you can taste famous matcha, enjoy matcha ice cream, and buy Uji-exclusive souvenirs.
