Nakamura Tokichi Main Store, Byodoin Temple, Uji, Japan

Although Uji is not as popular as Kyoto, Osaka, and Nara as the hometown of matcha, it occupies an important position in Japanese culture. In addition to being famous for the dual world heritage sites of Byodoin Temple and Kami-Uji Shrine, the locally produced Uji green tea is also considered the best in Japan. Uji Nakamura Tokichi has two stores, a main store and a Byodoin store. On the day's itinerary, we first went to the main store to see that it would take 2 hours to draw a number plate. Then we walked along the road to the Byodoin store to have a look. At Byodoin, you can find a seat if you have one. After you have a seat, you can go and order by yourself. The Byodoin store has a panoramic view of the Uji River. Compared with the long waiting time for the number plate at the main store, it is more flexible.
