Chungik Shrine

#familytrips2024 Chungiksa Temple is home to the righteous army museum and a shrine to Kwak Jae-woo, the commander of the righteous army during the Japanese invasions of Korea, and the 17 generals under his command. Here, a unique quince tree stands out. This quince tree was originally a Dangsan tree from another village, but was transplanted in 1978, making it the longest-lived quince tree in Korea. Be sure to stop by when you visit Uiryeong.
