Korea [Uijeongbu] A super local place! A delicious dak-ri-tang restaurant loved by locals

Uijeongbu, Korea. Located in Gyeonggi-do, next to Seoul. Because of the large military presence in the area, Budae-jjigae (military stew) has become popular, and Budae-jjigae Street is home to many specialty restaurants. The area is about 50 minutes from central Seoul. This is an introduction to a super local Dattritang restaurant in Uijeongbu. Dattritang is a hotpot dish of chicken and vegetables stewed in a spicy soup. I was looking for a good restaurant when I went to the Uijeongbu area, so I went there. It had good reviews and word of mouth, so I decided to go to this restaurant. As expected, it is a restaurant loved by locals. Even though I visited around 3pm on a weekday, about half the seats were filled. It is a system where you take off your shoes at the entrance, which is rare in Korea. In addition to Dattritang, you can also eat Gokgae-tang (crab hotpot) and Samgyeopsal. It's a simple dattori tan with a little bit of green onion, potatoes, and chicken, but it's delicious!! It comes out ready in a pot, and you can simmer it at the table to your liking. The potatoes were well seasoned, and the chicken was tender and delicious. And they serve gejang as an appetizer, and the fact that you can eat as much as you want is the best!
