Wat Luang: Ubon Ratchathani

Location: No. 95 Phromthep Road, Nai Mueang Subdistrict, Mueang District, Ubon Ratchathani Province This is the first temple and a significant temple of Ubon Ratchathani, built by Phra Pathum Worarach Suriyawong (Chao Kham Phong), the first ruler of Ubon. It is a public temple under the Maha Nikaya sect, located on the banks of the Mun River. It houses Phra Chao Yai Ong Luang and Phra Kaew Phaithun, one of the important emerald Buddhas of Ubon Ratchathani Province.
