Ubon Ratchathani Province holds a grand event because there is a legend about the candle procession tradition for hundreds of years and has been passed down until it became a provincial event. Each year, there will be a procession of candles carved in various forms related to Buddhism. The procession will be held on Uparat Road in the center of Ubon Ratchathani, starting from Thung Si Mueang, heading north to the intersection at kilometer zero. There will be a procession both in the morning and evening. In the event, there will be a contest. The parade floats from each district that participate in the event will be parked at Thung Si Mueang for 5 days so that everyone can take pictures and enjoy the beauty.
