View of the Adriatic Sea from Trieste

It takes just under two hours by train from Venice to Trieste. It is said to be the unsettled part of Italy, and is located at the easternmost part of Italy. It is a port city facing the Adriatic Sea, but there is also a difference in elevation, so if you climb the hill, you can see a wonderful view. The food is delicious, especially the seafood, but as you would expect from Italy, everything you eat is excellent. I recommend making a reservation before going to the restaurant. It is quite full. The city is not that big, so you can enjoy it enough with one night. It is also recommended for solo travelers.
