Toyohashi Station

This station is located in Toyohashi City, Aichi Prefecture, and is on the Tokaido Shinkansen, Tokaido Main Line, Iida Line, Meitetsu Line, and Toyohashi Railroad Line. It is an unusual station in that it is shared by JR conventional lines and Meitetsu. There is a hotel on the north side. The Shinkansen platform has two platforms and three tracks for arrival and departure, and two through tracks. There is one platform and two tracks for Tokyo, and one platform and one track for Shin-Osaka. Kodama and some Hikari trains stop here. There is a waiting room inside the Shinkansen ticket gate, as well as a convenience store, coffee shop, and ekiben shop.
