This summer vacation, I took my kids to explore Puyuan in Jiaxing! This ancient town trip was full of delightful surprises~

Walking on the cobblestone paths, white walls and black tiles reflected in the small river as paddle boats drifted lazily by. The little one chased ducks along the riverbank, their laughter louder than the cicadas' chirping~ At an old teahouse, we ordered Grandma's osmanthus sugar cakes—sticky, sweet, and fragrant with tea aroma. The kid gobbled it up, face covered in sugar, and the photos turned out with a natural soft-focus glow~ The best part? It wasn't too crowded! While exploring the intangible cultural heritage workshops, my little one even tried their hand at wool weaving and proudly showed off their self-woven coaster~ In the evening, we found a riverside restaurant where steamed mullet was so fresh it "made our eyebrows fall off." The kid devoured two big bowls of rice—this mom was thrilled~ No rushed itinerary, just leisurely strolling and soaking in the views. The kids had a blast, and the adults could finally relax. Puyuan is absolutely worth a family trip!
