Picnic for 150 yen! Tokyo's hidden gardens are here!

#TokyoStrategy I went to Kiyosumi Garden in Koto Ward, Tokyo during Golden Week! It was my first time visiting, and I was surprised by the wonderful space and the size! I thought I'd like to go there for a picnic with my friends or boyfriend, so I put together this list! Please use it as a reference🥺 🌷Kiyosumi Garden It is a Japanese garden with a pond and a stroll around it! A pond and a stroll around it is a style where a walking path is built around a large pond, called a fountain! I've never heard of it before🥺But I actually really like this shape🙆♀️ Just by walking around the pond, you can enjoy the beautiful scenery from different angles‼ ︎Taking photos was fun too🤳 There are some spots where you can capture the Skytree and the garden, so I think it would be beautiful if you had a single-lens camera🤗 The quiet, calm atmosphere and beautiful scenery are what make it so appealing🙆♀️ The highlights are the walking path that goes around the garden and the famous stones (garden stones) collected from all over the country, and you can enjoy the scenery in all four seasons! It was interesting to focus on the stones, and they were quite large, so we had a great time talking about how it must have been hard for people to bring these from the countryside in the past. lol 【Information Summary】 📍Location: Kiyosumi 3-chome, Koto-ku, Tokyo 🚃Access: 3-minute walk from Kiyosumi Shirakawa Station on the Toei Oedo Line and Tokyo Metro Hanzomon Line ⌛️Opening hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (entry until 4:30 PM) 💰Admission fee: 150 yen for adults, 70 yen for those 65 and over (free for elementary school students and younger, and junior high school students living in Tokyo) 🎌Closed: New Year's holiday (12/29 - 1/1) 🍱Perfect for a picnic!・ There are many benches in the park, so it's convenient for snacks and resting. ・ You can bring food (please take your trash home with you). ・ It's a great place to take a walk and get in touch with nature. Finally, I lived in this area for a while, and there are many stylish cafes around Kuramae, so it's a great feeling to have tea while walking, so I recommend going on a nice day! From my experience, it seems like there aren't many places to eat, so I think it's a good idea to do some research beforehand if you want to get takeout.
