This is Muromachi Saba Akasaka, a soba restaurant in Akasaka, Tokyo. Muromachi Saba is famous as the birthplace of Tenzaru and Tenmori! This time, I ordered Mori Soba (770 yen) and Soba Zenzai (935 yen) to enjoy New Year's Eve soba. Mori Soba, which is a simple soba dish, was of course delicious. It was my first time to try Soba Zenzai, and as the name suggests, Zenzai is placed on top of soba. The taste of soba wrapped in a sweet coating of Zenzai was a rare sensation, but it was also like a dessert. On December 31st, we lined up at the store from 11:00 when it opened, and waited two hours to enter. Despite the long wait, everyone was looking forward to the New Year's Eve soba event!
