[National dish] What is Albanian Byrek? 🇦🇱

📍 Byrektore Albani Rruga Haidar Hidi 3, Tirane, Albania Byrek is a pie, the national dish of Albania. In shops, it is often triangular in shape. Almost all bakeries in town sell byrek, and I get the impression that cheese and bean versions are everywhere. They also have spinach and tomato versions! There is a shop in the center of Tirana where locals gather, and when I visited it, it was a big hit! They served it hot for about 80 yen each (depending on the exchange rate) 🥰 Moreover, it was as big as my face and very filling ◎ I love byrek with lots of melted cheese, and I often eat it as a snack.
